"I'm constantly watching for objects with memory or spark. The strange and disconnected are the stuff of my creations. I often choose a box to contain disparte items, drawing them together in a composition: sometimes humorous, sometimes dark."

"My approach to the work varies with each creation, but I paint, glue, solder, and cut...screws, bolts, nails and wire help secure pieces to backgrounds. I often manipulate surfaces with patina and faux finishes to change the over-all surface effect. Ultimately, I like to feel I have resurrected objects that contain past energies of some human emotions, bringing about reconnections with my viewers."
